About Sandra

Born and raised on Capitol Hill, Sandra brings deep-rooted east coast sensibilities to her fresh and relaxed west coast designs. Influenced by her childhood international travels and acclaimed architect mother, Sandra’s spaces blend clients’ individualized aesthetics with a dose of clean, classic interiors to be enjoyed for years to come. With an emphasis on custom residential construction and large-scale remodels, Sandra Fox Interiors offers interior design services to both residential and commercial clientele. Sandra's spaces are always contextual and emphasize her belief in the beauty of restraint.
With a vast network of architects, builders, contractors and artisans, Sandra's bilingual background allows her to communicate her bespoke designs seamlessly to create unique environments for each and every project. Sandra believes that each home should tell a story as unique as her clients – no two projects are alike.
Her work has received international recognition via Architectural Digest, Casa Vogue, Elle Decoration, CA Home & Design, Homes & Gardens UK and many others.
Sandra has lived throughout Los Angeles over the past 25 years, and now lives in Santa Monica with her husband, daughter, son and two (not so mini) Mini Bernedoodles.

With decades of experience, the all-female team at SFI brings a wealth of knowledge and creativity to every project. Having designed some of the top residential properties in Los Angeles, as well as conceptualized popular commercial spaces, every designer brings their invaluable background to the collaborative design process at SFI.
The team at Sandra Fox Interiors donates 10% of net profits to a variety of charities nationwide, with an emphasis on supporting underprivileged communities.

Architectural consulting for ground-up builds + renovations

From initial conception, we work closely with architects to make sure that our Client’s needs are being met before plans are submitted for permit. This early involvement allows for an unprecedented attention to detail and ultimately execution.
Space planning + furniture floor plans

Saving our Clients time, money and heartache, our firm provides CAD-drawings laying out all furniture pieces desired in the correct scale + proportion to the home. This is a crucial step before buying any furniture - believe us!
Construction material + finish selections

Always staying on top of the latest - 0ur knowledge of construction materials, trends + durability informs our selections for all new-build and renovation projects. We keep Client’s aesthetics and budget in mind, managing selection and procurement through installation.
Custom cabinetry and millwork design

Our relationships with local tradespeople + workrooms ensure that every detail is thought of when creating custom cabinetry + millwork. Whether it’s maximizing space in a renovation or making sure that your new build is swoon-worthy, we’ll help design the perfect one-of-a-kind solution.
Sourcing interior selections

Keeping our Client’s needs and aesthetics in mind, our team sources and selects furniture, wall + floor coverings, decorative lighting, window treatments, art + accessories to complete a home. With the help of our trade partnerships, this includes custom, one-of-a-kind pieces designed by our team and built by hand by some of the best workrooms in Los Angeles.
Local & international sourcing trips with clients

Is furniture, art, or accessory shopping overwhelming? Don’t know where to go? We regularly schedule shopping trips + meetings with some of the best showrooms + galleries in the LA-area. Paris flea market or Moroccan bazaar more your thing? We’ll set up and accompany you on the sourcing trip of a lifetime and coordinate shipping your carefully curated haul stateside.
